Tooth Replacement

We offer a full range of tooth replacement services including the following:

Crown & Bridgework

Teeth with large fillings and teeth that have fractured after having had a large filling will often benefit from a crown to protect against fractures that may lead to removal of the tooth. Crowns are also recommended on teeth that have had root canal treatment as they have been shown to be more prone to fracture unless adequately protected with a crown or “cap”. Crowns may also be suggested for teeth that may be cracked or to prevent cracking of teeth in patients who clench or grind their teeth.

A bridge is a non-removable prosthesis used to replace missing teeth. Teeth at opposite ends of the space need to be prepared by the dentist in order to have a bridge made. Advantages of bridgework include improved esthetics and function (chewing), and they will prevent drifting of teeth adjacent to or opposing the missing teeth. Dentures

Dentures are artificial replacements for your natural teeth and gums.

There are 2 types of dentures: partial and complete.

Partial dentures are are made up of one or more artificial teeth held in place by clasps that fit onto nearby natural teeth.

Complete dentures are what we most often refer to as “false teeth.” They can cause soreness at first and take some time to get used to.

Both partial and complete dentures can made in association with implants to help improve stability and retention.
